Hi, I’m Bobby Wilkinson, one of the developers of X3: Terran Conflict, although some in the community probably know me better as Syklon, one of the developers behind the XTended mod. So without further ado, let this series start: The team that worked on this grand finale to the X series has been the biggest team to work on an X game ever, and the reason for this is that our core team was joined by some guys you may already know. (Unless you disabled it yourself, it will be active by default.For the next issue of the X Universe News, our regular email to the community, Bernd has asked some of the developers of X3: Terran Conflict to write a bit about their experiences over the past two years. The Events AL Plugin has to be activated in order to experience them. Larger Events are usually announced in the Galactic News System, so it is a good idea to regularly check it. But you are in no way obligated to do so.
You can participate and influence the outcome though, which, depending on the event, may reward you. Choose wisely.Įvents Events happen in the universe no matter what you, as the player, do. During the course of some Mission Sets you may be required to make decisions, which will have direct impact on the outcome of the Story (and possibly reward). Don't worry about the conditions too much, you will be notified once you meet the requirements and told what steps to take next in order to proceed. Most Mission Sets require certain conditions to start (for example good standing with a certain race, a certain fightrank, a minimal Universe Expansion Stage, etc).
They tell a story and consist of a sequence of unique Missions that can only be completed once. Mission Sets There are a few Mission Sets in X-tended, also sometimes called Plots. Just open a com channel with the contact if you are interested in a job. They are marked with special icons above Stations or Ships. Generic Missions Missions of this type are the most commonly available in the universe. In X-Tended there are a variety of Missions and Events that you can participate in.
